How to Disable a PUSH 540 OPEN Find Hub network
This article is related to the PUSH 540 OPEN and Google's Find Hub app.
Once disabled, the PUSH 540 OPEN will stop reporting its location to the Find Hub network, and the owner will no longer receive location updates.
If you receive a message on your Android device indicating that a PUSH 540 OPEN has been detected nearby—and you are unfamiliar with the device—you can make the earbuds ring using the system notification. After locating the item, follow the steps below to disable it. Once disabled, the owner will no longer receive location updates, and the earbuds will stop triggering unknown tracker alerts.
Disable Using the Power Key
- Touch one earbud and release after 1 second, once you hear a sound (1-second long press tone).
- Repeat the same step on the this earbud: touch and release after 1 second when you hear the tone.
- Touch this earbud again and hold for 1 second until you hear a confirmation sound. The Find Hub network will be disabled.
How to Re-enable a PUSH 540 OPEN on Find Hub
After disabling the Find Hub network, power off the earbuds and then power them back on.
To power off the earbuds:
- Double tap, then tap again. (Amber LED will blink 3 times.)
To power them back on:
- Long press the power key for 1 second, or
- Place the earbuds into the charging case. (Blue LED will light up.)
